Community Needs, Assessment in Laghman Province

Communities understand their own needs better than anyone else. At HUMAN Organization, we believe that effective humanitarian action begins by listening.

Our assessment team visited several communities across Laghman Province to engage directly with families, community elders, and local representatives. Through field observations, interviews, and community consultations, we gathered valuable information on the challenges affecting vulnerable households and identified priority humanitarian needs.

The findings from this assessment will guide future interventions and help ensure that assistance is community-driven, evidence-based, and responsive to local realities.

Preparing for Field Assessments

Before entering communities, our field teams organized assessment materials and reviewed data collection tools to ensure a structured, transparent, and accountable assessment process.

Every Community Has a Story

Behind every statistic is a family, a child, and a future. Our assessments focus on understanding the daily realities of communities to ensure that humanitarian assistance reaches those who need it most.

Supporting Rural Livelihoods

Agriculture remains one of the primary sources of income for many households in Laghman Province. Conversations with community members helped us better understand the challenges affecting livelihoods, food security, and agricultural resilience.

Listening to Community Voices

Community consultations provided an opportunity for local leaders and residents to openly discuss their priorities, challenges, and recommendations. Their participation is essential for designing effective and sustainable humanitarian programs.
